Television weatherman Deric Hartigan returned to Bunratty Castle and Folk Park to broadcast his morning forecasts live on Ireland AM.
Having worked at Virgin Media Television, formerly TV3, for almost two decades, the Limerick native was back on familiar ground at the popular County Clare visitor attraction this Thursday, July 11.
Deric once worked as an entertainer at the world famous Bunratty Castle Medieval Banquet.

Speaking on live TV, Deric said, “I think I was seventeen or eighteen. I was here for about five or six years fado, fado, entertaining the guests for many, many years.”
“I know the place inside out so it kind of feels like a home from home here this morning,” he added.
