Clare gardai launch investigation after window of parked SUV is smashed

Gardaí in Ennis are appealing for information after the window of an SUV was smashed last weekend.

An investigation has been launched following the incident of criminal damage that occurred at Church Drive, Clarecastle sometime between 8.30pm last Sunday and 8.30am on Monday.

"The injured party parked their vehicle, a silver Hyundai Tucson, on Church Drive and between Sunday evening and Monday morning someone used a rock to smash a passenger window," said a garda spokesperson.

Witnesses or anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact Ennis garda station on 065 6848100.
