Met Éireann has issued a number of severe weather warnings for Clare as Storm Darragh bears down on Ireland.
The latest named storm of the season is expected to batter much of the country this Friday night and Saturday morning.
The forecaster has upgraded its earlier warnings and says the storm is set to bring heavy rain and strong winds to EVERY county late on Friday night into the early hours of Saturday.
Status red warnings have been issued for SEVEN counties - Clare, Donegal, Mayo, Sligo, Mayo, Leitrim and Wicklow - with the first due to take effect from 9pm.

Clare County Council has placed emergency crews on standby and motorists are being urged not to drive and to 'shelter in place' while the warnings are in place.
The status red warning for Clare will remain valid until 2am on Saturday while the status orange warning will remain valid until 10am.
