Gardai in Sixmilebridge are renewing their appeal for information following two burglaries which occurred in the town on Christmas Day.
Two premises on the Main Street were broken into between 2.30am and 3.30am on December 25.
"The perpetrator entered one of the commercial properties from the rear, causing some damage to the rear door. The second retail premises was then entered and the perpetrator left via the rear of the property," said crime prevention officer Sergeant Catriona Holohan.

Investigating gardai say the culprit may have come out onto Cuirt An Droichead and they are appealing to anyone who observed someone in this vicinity in the early hours of Christmas morning to contact them.
Gardai have not disclosed publicly if anything was taken from either of the premises.
