Gardaí in Shannon have launched an investigation following two separate incidents of criminal damage in the Cappagh Lodge estate in Sixmilebridge.
In an appeal for witnesses, they say the first incident took place sometime between last Friday evening (January 10) and last Saturday afternoon.
"The target was a vacant home. Damage was caused to a window and door," said crime prevention officer Sergeant Catriona Holohan who said the perpetrators did not manage to gain access to the property, which has since been secured.
"The second incident took place in the Cappagh Lodge estate between Saturday evening and Sunday afternoon.
"In this case the perpetrators caused significant damage to a home, causing damage to four windows in the property," said Sgt Holohan.

Gardaí in Shannon are investigating and they are appealing to the members of the public for their assistance.
"Did anyone see any vehicles or persons in the Cappagh Lodge estate between Friday evening and Sunday afternoon? Does anyone have CCTV or dash-cam footage on their vehicle that may have been parked in the estate or going to or from the estate," asked Sgt Holohan.
Anyone with information about either incident is asked to contact Shannon garda station on 061 365900.
