ALERT: Motorists warned of possible delays due to works on busy road in Clare town

In a public notice, Clare County Council says it will carry out the works on the R475 Kilrush Road, between the Clonroadbeg Junction and O’Sullivan & Hansbury Service Station

Motorists in Ennis are being advised of potential delays between now and the end of the month due to planned roadworks in the town.

In a public notice, Clare County Council says it will carry out the works on the R475 Kilrush Road, between the Clonroadbeg Junction and O’Sullivan & Hansbury Service Station, from this Tuesday, January 21 until Friday, January 31.

While the road will remain open to traffic throughout, the local authority says a temporary traffic management plan will be in place during this time.

Motorists are being asked to consider using an alternative route if possible.
