APPEAL: Witnesses sought by gardai after parked car is damaged in west Clare town

Gardaí in Kilrush are appealing for information after damage was caused to a parked vehicle earlier this week.

In their appeal, they say a silver Nissan Tilda, which was parked on Hector Street in the town on Monday, was damaged sometime between 4.45pm and 11pm.

"Kilrush gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have observed a person or persons near this silver Nissan Tiida to contact Kilrush garda station on 065 9080550," said crime prevention officer Sergeant Catriona Holohan.

It's understood inquiries have been conducted in the local area and that CCTV footage is also being sought by investigating gardai.
