Witnesses are being sought after a rock was thrown at a car which was parked in the driveway of a house in Ennis.
Gardaí say they are investigating the incident of criminal damage that happened on the night of April 3.
"The owner parked their vehicle outside their home on The Drive in Cappahard on the Tulla Road. Their vehicle, a grey Volkswagen Golf estate, was parked outside the home when a number of youths threw a rock at the rear windscreen, smashing it," said crime prevention officer Sergeant Catriona Holohan.
According to gardai the youths then fled the scene.
"Gardaí believe that this incident occurred between 10pm and 11pm on Thursday night (April 3) and a number of
youths were present during the crime. One of the youths fled the scene on a bicycle," added Sgt Holohan.

Investigating gardaí are appealing to anyone who observed this group of youths on The Drive in the Cappahard estate or in the vicinity, to please contact them at 065 6848100.
Investigations into the incident are ongoing.
