PICTURES: Disappointment as Clare lose to Waterford in Munster hurling championship

Brian Lohan's side have yet to record a win following two rounds of the round robin series

There was disappointment for Clare on Sunday as they lost to Waterford in their second round robin match in this year's Munster senior hurling championship.

In front of a a packed Walsh Park in Waterford, Clare struggled throughout the 70 minutes - seven days on from their Easter Sunday draw against Cork in Ennis.

The home side, who were were bidding for a first championship victory over Clare in nearly five years, led by 0-13 to 0-10 at half-time while the final result was Waterford 2-23 Clare 0-21.

Next up for Clare is a home fixture - at Zimmer Biomet Páirc Chíosóg - against Tipperary on Saturday, May 10.
