Shannon Gardaí are investigating two incidents of criminal damage caused to residential properties in the town.
The first incident took place in the Inis Ealga estate in Shannon on Friday night, April 23, at approximately 11.15pm. The kitchen window of a family home was smashed and broken.
Following this, a second similar incident took place on Monday morning, April 28, at approximately 5am in the Cronan Lawns estate. The owner of the home woke to a loud bang at this time and found a window to the rear of their property had been smashed.
Along with this, they discovered a window to their vehicle was smashed in also. The vehicle was a white Renault Arkana.
It is not yet known if these two incidents are connected.
A spokesperson for An Garda Síochána in the town said, "Shannon Gardaí are appealing to anyone that may have witnessed either of these incidents or may have information in relation to these crimes to please contact Shannon Garda Station on 061 365900."
