Killaloe gardaí appeal for information following burglary which saw multiple items stolen

This occurred in Newtown between 9pm on Tuesday, May 13 and 6am on Wednesday, May 14

Gardaí in Clare are appealing for information following a burglary in Killaloe which saw a number of items stolen from the premises.

The Killaloe gardaí are investigating this incident, which occurred in Newtown between 9pm on Tuesday, May 13 and 6am on Wednesday, May 14. 

During the course of this burglary, two trolley jacks, two Milwaukee ½ inch guns with 5 amp batteries, a ¾ inch socket set, a ½ inch socket set and a battery angle grinder were stolen.

A spokesperson for An Garda Síochána in Killaloe said, "We are appealing to anyone that may have been in the Newtown area of Killaloe last Tuesday night or in the early hours of Wednesday morning. Did you see anyone or any vehicle that you felt was suspicious?

"We are also appealing to the public to be mindful of the items that were stolen. If you become aware of any persons trying to sell this property, please call your local Garda station or the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111," they concluded.
