The incident took place on Friday, August 15
Gardaí in Kilrush are investigating an early-morning incident of theft, which took place on Friday, August 15.
Throughout the course of the offence, a small amount of money was stolen from a car parked at Carnacalla in the town. This occurred at approximately 2am, with Gardaí saying it was a male that entered the vehicle.

A spokesperson for An Garda Síochána in the county appealed to the public: "Did you see anything unusual in the area between midnight and 3am? If so, please contact Kilrush Garda station on 0659080550."
