The man who has starred in major Hollywood TV shows and films such as 'The Office', 'Despicable Me' and 'Anchorman' has been spotted in Doolin!
63-year-old Steve Carell was enjoying the last of the Irish summer on Inis Meáin, where locals were quick to spot the acting legend.
Most famous for his role as 'Michael Scott' in the hit US sitcom 'The Office', Mr Carell travelled from Clare via the Doolin Ferry company to visit the Aran Islands.
Locals working in the island’s only pub, 'Teach Ósta', welcomed the father-of-two behind the bar to pull a pint of Guinness, a gesture synonymous with celebrity visits to Ireland.

Carell also paid a visit to Coláiste Naomh Eoin, the local Irish college, where he snapped a picture with some of the teachers.
The iconic actor joins the list of Harry Styles, John Cena, Sarah Jessica Parker, Matthew Broderick and Cynthia Nixon who all crossed Ireland off their 2025 travel bucket lists this summer.
