Drugs, cash and a number of items have been seized following a search operation in Ennis.
On Monday, August 25, Gardaí executed this search under warrant at a domestic premises in the town. This was part of ongoing operations which target the sale and supply of drugs in Clare.
As a result, cocaine to the estimated street value of €3,150 was seized along with a quantity of cash and a number of other items.

The drugs seized will now be forwarded to Forensic Science Ireland for analysis.
Following this, a male in his 30s was arrested and conveyed to a Garda Station in the county. However, he has since been released without charge.
A file will be prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions and Gardaí have confirmed that investigations are ongoing.
