Two young women have been hospitalised following a single-car crash on a busy road in the Newmarket on Fergus area.
Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene of this single vehicle road traffic collision, which occurred on the M18 Monday morning, September 1. The incident took place at approximately 10:20am.

The driver and passenger, both women aged in their 20s, were conveyed to University Hospital Limerick for treatment of injuries believed to be non-life threatening at this time.
It is understood that the road was closed for a period time but has since reopened. The vehicle has also been removed.
Investigations are ongoing.
