Gardaí in Clare are appealing for witnesses after a property in a remote area was burgled.
On Thursday, October 9, authorities received a report of this incident, which had taken place at a family home in the Moanmore area of Kilrush.
The residents of this house returned home at 7pm to find that it had been entered during the course of the day. A sum of money was stolen. According to Gardaí, the perpetrators may have been in the property for a long period of time.

Since the home is in a remote area, the suspects would have required transport to commit this crime.
Kilrush Gardaí are appealing to anyone that was in Moanmore on Thursday, October 9 between 9am and 7pm. Did you witness anyone or any vehicle in the area that was out of place or suspicious?
Gardaí are also appealing to commercial premises and financial institutions in County Clare to be extra vigilant.
