Gardaí are appealing for anyone who may have any information to contact them immediately
Gardaí in Shannon are investigating a burglary which took place in the Dun Aras estate just before 8am on Sunday morning, December 14.
A Garda spokesperson said: "The owner of the home heard noises downstairs and when he went into the hall they observed a male run out the front door of the home."
They also stated: "A second male was in the owner's vehicle and fled the scene on foot when he was observed by the owner.

Descriptions of the culprits were also given to Gardaí following the incident but the details of which have not been disclosed to the media.
Gardaí are appealing for anyone who may have any information or witnessed the incident to come forward and contact them immediately.
