Planning permission has been sought for a new indoor sports facility facility just outside of Ennis town centre in County Clare.
Clipex Fencing & Stockyards has submitted an application to change of use of their existing retail building to an indoor sports facility, located in the Quin Road Business Park , with a variety of exciting features planned.

If successful, the existing retail unit will be transformed into an indoor sports facility which will include a six padel courts, changing rooms as well as a seating and reception area.
The new development would continue to use the premises existing entrance and parking areas.
The application also seeks approval for all associated site and ancillary works.
A submission or observation in relation to the application can be made in writing to the planning authority for a prescribed fee of €20.
This must be within five weeks of the authority first receiving the planning application.
Any submissions or observations on the proposed project must be submitted by Wednesday February 4, with the final decision on the planning application due on February 25.
