The dog park will provide freedom for dogs to run and play off-leash in a large open space.
The approved development will feature a secure double-gated entry system and a 1.8 metre high boundary fence. It will also provide an agility and play area equipped with dog toys.
Drinking water will be provided for dogs and poop bags and bins will also be available if needed.
As outlined in the planning application, people will be required to make a booking in advance, as only those with a prior booking will be granted entry into the park.
Bookings will grant users one hours entry into the park, with a maximum limit of three dogs per one adult.
The park’s expected opening hours will be between 9am and 8pm, varying seasonally in line with daylight hours, as outlined in the planning permission.
The new dog park is set to be a fur-tastic addition to Clare, giving local dogs plenty to wag their tails about.
