The Garvagh Tug Of War at the Nationals last year in Antrim. Antrim.
A County Derry sports team will star in the next documentary in BBC NI's True North series.
It follows one of the oldest sports teams in the North, Garvagh Tug of War, through a competitive season.
The film shows the team's journey from the first weigh-in to the pinnacle of the pulling calendar, the Northern Ireland Championships.
Garvagh was mentored by experienced coach Kenny Moore and captained by Steven Speers.
Fellow County Derry club and rival team Bancran also feature as they look to send the Garvagh boys home empty handed.
The Garvagh Tug of War team was founded in 1971 and has competed at UK, European and World levels during its 52-year-history.
Last August the team won silver at the British and Irish Outdoor Tug of War Championships in Swansea.
They returned with a hero's welcome with the Mayor of Causeway Coast and Glens Council hosting a reception for the men in Cloonavin.
Offering his congratulations at the time, the Mayor, Councillor Ivor Wallace, highlighted the area's ties to tug of war.
“Garvagh has a long and successful history in the sport through the years, and I’m very pleased to see this tradition continue.
“I would like to congratulate all involved on their performance, and for representing our Borough with great distinction,” he said.
The documentary was produced by Alleycats for BBC Northern Ireland with support from Northern Ireland Screen’s Ulster-Scots Broadcast Fund.
True North: Pull is on BBC One Northern Ireland on Wednesday 25 January, 10.40pm. It is available now on BBC iPlayer https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p0dmmhn7
