The first half of the fourth round of The Rallysport Association Winter Championship will take place this weekend (Saturday, January 14) at Shackleton Industrial Park venue in Ballykelly.
The unique RSA event formula has become popular with competitors and spectators due to the non-stop highspeed action from the fastest growing development in European motorsport, the incredibly exciting internationally manufactured racing buggies called ‘Crosskarts’.
Also taking part will be the very competitive ‘one make’ classes for Mini Coopers and Mazda MX5’s.
100 plus competitors will take part in what will be an action-packed day of top class motorsport. The previous event highlights programs can now be watched on YouTube at the ‘Hold er Flat’ channel or accessed here
Many of Ireland's leading motorsport personalities join these events where they can entertain sponsors, colleagues, and family friends in their winter of Irish motorsport.
Spectators are welcomed to the Ballykelly venue from 9am and early risers will enjoy free access to the driver’s service area and will be able to experience first-hand the pre-event preparation, car scrutineering the general competitor/organisation and competitors build up to the event which commences at 10am.
With adult admission only £10, junior admission £5 and seniors and under twelves enjoying a free entry, what better excuse to get outside and enjoy a winter Saturday with family and friends.
