Case adjourned against Derry man charged with 14 sexual offences

The case against a Derry man charged with 14 sexual offences has been adjourned at the local Magistrate's Court today.

The man who cannot be named to protect the identity of the alleged victims in the case is charged with four counts of rape, three counts of indecent assault on a female, three counts of sexual assault, three counts of gross indecency with a child and a charge of inciting a child to engage in sexual activity.

All of the offences were said to have occurred on dates between August 1 1999 and September 23 2012.

When the case was mentioned today it was adjourned until February 22 and the defendant was released on bail.
