A date has been fixed for a preliminary enquiry in the case involving a Derry man charged with explosive offences after a judge had warned that if there was no date he would set one himself.
Kieran McCool (54) of Ballymagowan Gardens in Derry faces two sets of charges.
He is charged with possessing articles for use in terrorism on dates between December 31 2016 and April 25 2018.
He is also charged with possessing explosives with intent to endanger life on dates between December 31 2016 and December 14 2017 and making preparations for terrorist acts on dates between December 31 2016 and December 4 2020.
McCool is also charged with three counts of possessing explosives with intent to endanger life on dates between December 21 2015 and April 20 2021, possessing an article for use in terrorism and preparing terrorist acts.
At a hearing last month Judge Barney McElholm warned that as the case was almost two years old a date had to be fixed for a PE or he was going to fix one himself.
Today a prosecutor said that a date could be fixed for June 21.
The case will be reviewed in May to ensure everything is on track for the June date.
McCool is currently on bail.
