Two women and a man have been returned for trial to Derry Crown Court on a charge of blackmail.
Caitlin Callaghan (24) and Fiona Callaghan (50) both of Glenabbey Close and Ryan Harkin (30) also of Glenabbey Close in Derry appeared at a preliminary enquiry at the local Magistrate's Court today.
All three were charged with robbing a man of cash, car keys, house keys and a crutch on March 12 2021.
They are also charged with making 'unwarranted demands of money each month', in other words blackmail, involving the same alleged victim on March 12 2021.
Fiona Callaghan is further charged with criminal damage to household objects belonging to the same man on the same date.
It was accepted there was a case to answer and there were no contrary submissions.
All three said they did not wish to call any witnesses or make any statement at this stage.
They were returned for trial to Derry Crown Court on March 8 with the two Callaghans being released on bail and Harkin in custody.
