Derry Court: Man returned for trial on GBH and witness intimidation charges

Derry Magistrate's Court

A man has been returned for trial to Derry Crown Court on attempted grievous bodily harm charge and one of witness intimidation.

Curtis Lee Moore (26) of Anderson Crescent in Limavady appeared at a preliminary enquiry at Derry Magistrate's Court today.

He is charged with attempted grievous bodily harm with intent on a female between July 1 2018 and July 5 2018.

He is also charged assaulting the same woman occasioning her actual bodily harm between the same dates.

Moore is also charged with one count of witness intimidation on July 5 2018.

It was accepted there was a case to answer and there were no contrary submissions.

Moore said he did not want to call any witnesses or make any statement at this stage.

He was returned for trial to Derry Crown Court on March 21 and released on bail.
