A man will face a preliminary enquiry at Derry Magistrate's Court on March 27 charged with seven charges relating to the ill treatment or neglect of six patients at Owen Mor Care Home.
The case of Shaun Lynch (53) Ballybegleg, Manorcunningham in County Donegal was mentioned at today's sitting of Derry Magistrate's Court.
Lynch faces seven charges of ill treating or neglecting six different patients on various dates in Owen Mor Care Home on various dates between January 31 2010 and December 1 2020.
The court heard that the defence had only received papers last week and a barrister asked for an adjournment before a PE is held.
That was granted and the case was adjourned until March 27 for a PE.
The defendant was not required to attend the hearing.
