Fans warned of 'possible traffic delays' ahead of Derry v. Dublin clash

Celtic Park

Ahead of today's (Saturday) Allianz Football League Division Two GAA fixture between Derry and Dublin scheduled for Celtic Park, the PSNI have issued advice of possible traffic delays.

In excess of 10,000 supporters are expected to be in attendance at Celtic Park for the eagerly awaited clash as Ulster champions Derry host the Leinster holders Dublin in a top-of-the-table battle (Throw-in 5.00pm).

A PSNI spokesperson said: “Increased traffic is expected on the A6 and A5, heading towards Celtic Park, from 4.00pm onwards and leaving Celtic Park on Lone Moor Road from approximately 7.00pm onwards.

“Motorists should allow extra time for their journey.

“Spectators are advised to get to the game early so as to ensure safe access prior to the start of the match.”
