'Your time is up' – IRA issues warning to those involved in drugs trade in North Derry area

The IRA has issued a warning to those involved in dealing and distributing illicit drugs in the North Derry area.

The IRA has issued a warning to those involved in the drugs trade in the North Derry area.

In a statement issued to the County Derry Post, the dissident republican group said they have targeted four known drug distributors in the area in recent months.

“Over the last number of months, the IRA in the North Derry area have targeted four well-known drug distributors. The four criminals from the North Derry area have now given assurances to desist their activities following warnings from the Irish Republican Army,” read the statement.

The republican group are now calling on those involved in the drugs trade to make themselves known to republican activists in the area.

“For their own safety, it's imperative that those who continue to be involved in the drugs trade make themselves known to republican activists.

“The IRA in North Derry wish to make it clear to those who do not heed this warning and continue to deal and distribute illicit drugs, your time is up,” the statement added.
