Focus Project, based in Creggan Enterprises Rath Mor Centre, are holding a hustings event for women on Wednesday, 3rd May.
Local election candidates for the Moor Ward will be in attendance.
Project Coordinator Amie Gallagher has urged local women to attend, "Many women feel disconnected from politics and don't feel they have a voice.
“Events like this provide an opportunity for women to highlight the issues which matter to them, and hopefully helps them to vote for the candidate they feel most represented by on 18th May."
