St Canice's PS is holding a number of events to celebrate its 50th anniversary.
A County Derry primary school is set to hold a series of events, including a dinner dance, to mark its 50th anniversary.
St Canice's Primary School in Dungiven kick off its 50th anniversary celebrations on Friday, May 12 with a celebratory dinner dance.
The school, which opened its doors to pupils back in 1973, is extending a warm welcome to past pupils, families and anyone associated with the school or area, to attend the event which will be held in the Roe Park Resort in Limavady.
Tickets, priced at £50 per person, are currently on sale and can be purchased by contacting the school on 02877741457.
Other events are planned to mark the special anniversary, including a 50th anniversary mass in St Patrick's Church in Dungiven on Sunday, May 21 at 2pm.
Following this, everyone is welcome back to the school where tea/refreshments will be served. It will also be the perfect opportunity to catch up with old friends and to view the exhibition.
The school will be open on Saturday, May 20, from 11am to 3pm, for anyone who would like to take a walk down memory lane and view the exhibition or walk around the building.
