The Thomas Burke (Burkey) Perpetual Cup, sponsored by Impact-NI, Complete Accident Management, will get under way this Saturday, May 6 at Oakland Park with a 2.00pm ko.

Foyle Harps and Bonagee will open the competition in a repeat of last year's final which, saw Harps win comfortably. This game was originally scheduled for Saturday 27th May but has been brought forward to accommodate both teams.

Foyle Harps will undoubtedly start as favourites in this game but it is expected that Bonagee will be considerably stronger than last year. Entry to the ground is free, but a collection will be taken up at this and every game with the proceeds going to support former Trojans player Aaron Callaghan as he battles a serious illness.

Following this game, the next match in the first round will be on Monday the 15th May when Creggan Swifts will meet Lisahally. This game will have a 7.00pm ko.
