'Zipline Across the Foyle' postponed.
Foyle Search and Rescue has posted an urgent update on its 'Zipline Across the Foyle' event.
The post said: "It is with a heavy heart that we bring you this news:
"Due to a familial bereavement with the event supplier of the 'Zipline Across the Foyle' event, we have had to postpone it until further in the year.
"However, do not fret, as we have already organised these new dates for the 7th & 8th of October!
"If you wish to go ahead with either of the dates in October please let us know and we will get you slotted in and if you have any sponsor money you can leave it over at any time during office hours or if this has been raised online we will keep a note of this for you.
"If you do not wish to go ahead with the rescheduled dates, we would ask that any money collected be returned to those that sponsored you. If this was raised online we ask that you close your fundraising page and we will then refund any money received from that platform to you. "
"We apologize for any inconvenience caused, especially to those who have put so much effort into raising funds for us.
