This has resulted in Alliance candidate Rachael Ferguson losing her seat

ELECTION 2023: Two Sinn Féin candidates have secured the final seats in Faughan

All five seats in Faughan have now been filled.

Sinn Féin candidates, Alex Duffy and Sean Fleming, have secured the final seats in Faughan with 1326.16 votes and 1243.58 votes respectively. 

This has resulted in Alliance candidate Rachael Ferguson losing her seat.

The quota was set at 1,350. The final three candidates did not meet the quota but were elected and eliminated based on the votes they had gained as a further count would not have affected the order of the final tally.

All five seats in Faughan have now been filled.
