ELECTION 2023: Two DUP and two SDLP candidates secure the remaining seats in Waterside

All seven seats in Waterside have now been secured

Two DUP and two SDLP candidates have secured the remaining seats in Waterside.

Niree McMorris (DUP), Chelsea Cooke (DUP), Sean Mooney (SDLP), and Martin Reilly (SDLP) have been elected.

They each received 1368.07, 1526.25, 1355.11 and 1154.21 votes respectively.

The quota was set at 1,365. The two SDLP candidates, Mooney and Reilly, received a higher number of votes than Alliance candidate, Phillip McKinney, who was eliminated as a result.

All seven seats for Waterside have now been filled.
