Police have charged a 33-year-old man with offences following a driving-related matter on Corrody Road in the Waterside yesterday (Wednesday, 30th May).
The man has been charged with using a motor vehicle without insurance, assault on police and obstructing police and is scheduled to appear before Derry Magistrates' Court on 21st June.
As is usual procedure, the charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
Meanwhile, Waterside Neighbourhood Policing Team officers have charged a 37-year-old man with a number of driving-related offences to appear before Derry Magistrates' Court on 21st June.
The charges include driving with excess alcohol in breath, dangerous driving and failing to stop for police.
As is usual procedure, the charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
The charges relate to incidents on Clooney Road in the city and on Victoria Road in Ballymagorry on Saturday, 27th May.
