Eoghan Rua 1-6
Slaughtneil 2-14
Slaughtneil ended Eoghan Rua's winning run with a comprehensive 2-14 to 1-6 victory at the Coleraine men's home ground. The Emmetts led from pillar to post and never looked in any real danger at any stage in this game. The winners had built up a commanding 0-7 to 0-1 lead by the end of the first quarter. The second quarter was a tighter affair and when Ciaran McGoldrick goaled in the 25th minute that gave the home side some hope as they went into the break just three adrift 0-8 to 1-2.
The sides traded three points each in the third quarter but a Mark McGuigan goal stretched Slaughtneil's lead out to seven, 1-5 to 1-12 going into the last ten minutes. Coleraine could only manage a point from a free over the closing minutes before Peter McCullough smashed in the visitors second goal two minutes from the end to confirm a solid eleven point win for Slaughtneil.

Faughanvale 0-8
Greenlough 0-8
Extreme bursts of rain made conditions difficult for both teams in a wet night in Faughanvale . Scores were always going to be hard to come by as both teams closed the space . Patrick Feeney broke the line to kick a good early point.
The Vale responded with a free before the Lough edged ahead with a Caolan Tohill free again the vale responded with a great effort before they clipped over another to lead 3.2. Greenlough hit back with the last two scores of the half to lead 4.3 at the break
As the weather eased the Vale scored the first of the half before Greenlough hit three on the bounce with Feeny, Tohill, and Lagan all on target.
Brian Mc Callion burst on to a great threw ball a unleashed a great goal bound effort that was brilliantly saved by the Vale keeper. This seemed to spur the home side on as they hit four unanswered points three from play and a long range free to lead by one. There was still time for the equaliser as Cillian Moore held the nerve to slot it over .

Sperrin Galvanisers Senior Hurling League

Ballinascreen 0-6
Slaughtneil 5-27
Baile na Scríne hosted Sleacht Néill at a sunny Dean McGlinchey Park on Wednesday evening in the Sperrin Galvanisers Senior Hurling league. It was a dominant performance by Sleacht Néill as the Emmets welcomed back some of their County hurlers to the line-up after the conclusion of the Christy Ring campaign.
Sleacht Néill dominated the first half with some clinical passing and Karl McKaigue, looking comfortable in his new corner forward role, carded 2 goals and a point in the first 30 mins. Jack Cassidy took over the free taking duties for most of the evening, landing 4 points in the first half. Peter McCullagh, at full forward, was lively and involved in many of the scoring plays. Half time score Sleacht Néill 4-15, Baile na Scríne 0-05.
The second half was a more even contest but Baile na Scríne didn’t make the most of their possession in the forward line. Like the Emmets they were without a number of their first team players and despite the best efforts of their county player, Paul Cleary, the scores didn’t come.
In the end it was a convincing performance by Sleacht Néill with the threat of scores coming from a number of positions. Full time score Sleacht Néill 5-27, Baile na Scríne 0-06
