Shantallow Community Centre is the place to be on Sunday (July 9) as everyone will be getting together to raise funds for the Children’s Cancer Charity, Belfast.
One user described the charity as being “there for people from Derry” and all across the North who have children on the ward and attending the clinic in the Royal Belfast Hospital for Sick Children.
Sunday’s children’s funday will include bouncy castles, face painting and BBQs. There will also be a visit from some Derry City FC players on the day, as well as singing by Simon Peters.
The funday organisers were quick to thank the local businesses who donated generously to the charity and everyone “who put in a lot of work helping out”, including Shantallow Community Centre.
The Funday starts at 3.00pm and finishes at 6.00pm and visitors just have to give a donation at the door.
