Ryan Graydon set to leave Derry City

Derry City

Ryan Graydon has spent just over a year at the Brandywell.

Ryan Graydon looks to have played his last game for Derry City.

The 24-year-old, who only just celebrated a year at the Brandywell, is set to join Fleetwood Town after the English League One side reignited their interest in the winger.

Back in May, the club dismissed a bid for Graydon from Fleetwood, describing it as ‘derisory’, insisting the player would not be leaving the club unless a ‘substantial’ offer as made. The winger still has 16 months left on his current deal at the Brandywell, but it appears that Fleetwood have indeed come back with an improved bid, with Graydon now set to join his new club in the coming days.

Graydon joined Derry City from Longford Town last July, making his debut against FC Riga in the Europa Conference League Qualifier at the Brandywell. He has made 44 appearances in all, scoring five goals and providing nine assists.
