Institute have moved up to third place in the Playr-Fit Championship after a hard-earned win at Ballinamallard.
Oisin Devlin scored the only goal of the game early in the second half to make it three wins in the last four league games for 'Stute.
Following decent displays on the road to Portadown and Bangor, 'Stute headed to Ferney Park hoping to earn their first away win of the season, but they had to thank goalkeeper Bryankizito Uzoukwu as Ballinamallard pushed hard to open the scoring in the first half.
'Stute hung in there and gave as good as they got and they took the lead on 57 minutes when Devlin found the net with a fine strike from distance.
The hosts pushed for an equalizer and Stafford had the chance to level late in the game but he headed over and 'Stute claimed the three points.
