A man has appeared at Derry Magistrate's Court today charged with inflicting grievous bodily harm with intent on two men and was released on bail on condition he does not enter the grounds of Altnagelvin Hospital.
Philip Donnelly (52) of Templegrove in Derry was charged with causing grievous bodily harm with intent on two different males on June 24 this year.
He was also charged with possessing an offensive weapon namely a hammer in Duke Street on the same date.
A police officer connected the accused to the charges.
A prosecutor told the court a full file had been requested and that would take some time.
Donnelly was released on bail with a condition does not enter the grounds of Altnagelvin Hospital.
The case was adjourned until October 18.
