Swatragh 3-15

Lavey 0-9

SWATRAGH made it back to back appearances in the final thanks to a superb second half display.

They had trailed at the break by three but with the strong wind at their backs they hit 2-13 in the second half to run out comfortable winners. Lavey through super striking from placed balls by Carla Collins were much the better side in the opening half, Collins hitting seven of their eight first half points. However, a goal from Grainne McAtamney in the 28th minute was a big score for a very out of sorts Swatragh side in that half.

On the resumption they were a different side and while out muscled in the tackle in the first it was a different story on the turn around. With in six minutes they had four unanswered points and a lead they were never to lose. When Dara McGuckin fired her first goal on 37 minutes it was already looking the end for Lavey. She hit her second seven minutes later and Swatragh coasted to victory with some fantastic point taking.
