Derry Courthouse, Bishop Street
Derry Magistrate's Court heard today how when police called to do a bail check at an address in the city the resident said he had 'never heard' of the accused.
Kevin Clark (23) of no fixed abode appeared charged with breaching his bail by not having an address.
Defence solicitor Paddy MacDermott said that his client had no address at present but police were agreeable to him being released to an address approved by the PSNI.
A police officer said police had attended an address and were told that the resident had no knowledge of Clark.
However, the officer said he believed this was just 'a mix up' with street names.
Clark was released on bail to an address approved by the PSNI, he must observe a curfew and have no contact with any alleged victim.
He will appear again on October 11.
