Derry Magistrates Court
A man has appeared at Derry Magistrate's Court today on a series of driving charges and a drugs charge.
Kevin Daniel Henry Derges (34) of Glenowen Park in Derry appeared charged with a total of 10 charges.
He was charged with two counts of dangerous driving that occurred in Shanreagh Park and Maple Road on September 17 this year.
He was also charged with two counts of failing to stop for police as well as a charge of driving with excess alcohol again on the same date.
Derges also faced a charge of possessing cocaine on the same date as well as possessing a blade namely a Stanley knife in a public place.
Finally the defendant was charged with failing to remain, report and failing to stop after an accident again on the same date.
A police officer connected the accused to the charges and the case was adjourned until November 8 and Derges was released on bail.
