Kathleen Canney (née Henry), 24 Glendale Park, Derry
The death has occurred of the late Kathleen Canney (née Henry), 27th October 2023, peacefully at her home 24 Glendale Park, (formerly of Lecky Road), beloved wife of Samuel, loving mother of the late Noel, dear daughter of the late Freddy and Nellie, cherished sister of Bernie, Helen, Ann, Robbie, Joe and the late Tommy, Freddy, Maryrose and Patsy and a dear and loving aunt to all her nieces and nephews, loved and sadly missed by the wider family circle. Funeral leaving her home today (Monday, 30th October) at 10.20am to St. Joseph’s Church, Galliagh for Requiem Mass at 11.00am. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery. Sacred Heart Of Jesus have mercy on her soul. St. Joseph intercede for her.

The death has taken place of Philip William Doherty, 28th October 2023, peacefully at hospital, late of Dundonald and formerly of Coleraine. Dearly loved son of the late William and Maggie, loving brother of Pat and the late June and Sheila and a much loved uncle and great-uncle. Requiem Mass in St. Mary’s Star of the Sea Church, Portstewart on Wednesday at 12noon followed by interment in Portstewart Cemetery. Family flowers only please.
