Blindboy to headline NI Science Festival in Derry's Millennium Forum

Ahead of its momentous 10th year, NI Science Festival has revealed its headline acts for 2024 with The Blindboy Podcast coming to the Millennium Forum in Derry.

Established in 2014, NI Science Festival has grown to become the largest celebration of its kind on the island of Ireland and in its relatively short lifespan has became one of the leading science festivals in Europe.

The festival returns in February 2024 when it will celebrate a decade of scientific discovery and exploration into the science of you, the universe and everything in-between.

On Tuesday, 20th February, experience The Blindboy Podcast live at the Millennium Forum with Limerick's own polymath, author, screenwriter, songwriter, musician, producer and academic, Blindboy.

The Blindboy Podcast is an award-winning storytelling podcast containing short fiction, interviews and comedy, hosted by Blindboy Boatclub of Irish comedy hip hop duo The Rubberbandits.

Drawing upon his experiences to democratise topics such as art, psychology, politics, science and music, Blindboy will speak to two special guest scientists to present unique and humorous insight into current issues they are currently researching.

Blindboy will also read from his much-anticipated new book Topographia Hibernica – a visionary new short story collection that unravels the knotted threads of humanity, nature and colonisation.

Tickets for the event are on sale now. For more information and to book, visit NIScienceFestival.com.
