Heavy rain for County Derry
The Met Office has issued a yellow warning for heavy rain in County Derry later this evening.
Counties Antrim, Armagh, Down, Fermanagh and Tyrone are also set to be affected.
Heavy rain will impact transport and infrastructure between 9pm on Monday (December 11) to 7am on Tuesday (December 12), according to the Met Office.
Between 10-15mm is expected in certain areas of the country.
The wettest spots could see 25 to 30 mm of rain.
Due to the heavy rain of these past few days, Met Office is alerting on the potential risk of floods due to the saturated ground.
At sea, south to southeast winds are expected to reach force 6 or higher.
The Met Office also advises to amend travel plans and plan more time if travelling by car or bus.
