Celtic Park will host Derry v Down in the McKenna Cup
Ahead of today's (Saturday) McKenna Cup clash between Derry and Down scheduled for Celtic Park, the PSNI have issued advice of possible traffic delays (Throw-in 6.00pm).
Derry, under new manager Mickey Harte, began their campaign with a solid 0-15 to 1-10 win over Cavan at Breffni Park on Wednesday night and will look to make it back to back wins when they host Down this evening.
A PSNI spokesperson said: "Road users in Derry are advised of possible traffic delays on Saturday due to the Derry Vs Down GAA fixture being played at Celtic Park in the city at 6pm.
"Increased traffic is expected in the area, prior to the start of the match and after the game.
"Motorists who will be in the area at the time are urged to drive with extra caution and leave extra time for their journey.
"Those attending the game should be mindful when parking and not to block private entrances or cause an obstruction to pedestrian traffic."
