Talented amateur photographer gifts prints of the North Wing Building to the Western Trust.
Talented Derry photographer Kevin Murphy has gifted prints to Western Trust.
The Western Health and Social Care Trust (Western Trust) gratefully acknowledged Kevin's very kind donation of two framed prints of the North Wing Building, Altnagelvin Hospital, Derry.
Wendy Doherty, Volunteer and Work Experience Coordinator at the Western Trust said: “We are very grateful to Kevin for kindly gifting two framed prints of the North Wing Building.
"Photography is a hobby taken up by Kevin 30 years ago, he finds it a fantastic tool to aid his mental health and well-being saying that when he gets out to shoot it gives him a new lease of life.
"Photography has given Kevin the opportunity to review the world around him, it has ‘changed his powers of perception’ and allows him to ‘appreciate beauty’. We are delighted that Kevin took the time not only to take these photos but to also gift them to the Trust. Thank you Kevin for your kindness and generosity. The framed prints will be placed in the North Wing for the public, patients and staff to view.”
