Giving it their all.
Strike Martial Arts recently hosted a 'Rising Stars' in Shantallow Community Centre where the next generation of stars showed their talent and ability in the ring.
There were over 100 competitors taking part on Saturday on what was without doubt one of the biggest junior kickboxing tournaments the North West has ever seen.
Head Coach Daniel 'Pinta' Quigley was delighted with the efforts of everyone who participated to make the show such a memorable event.
"This was our 3rd Rising stars promotion which is designed for the kids, to help them grow in confidence and gain valuable ring experience and compete in a grass roots style tournament," he explained.
"There was two rings active throughout the day and a brilliant opportunity for young fighters to try their hand at competing, come away with a medal and plenty of experience.
"We had 50 fights matched on the day with a host of local clubs as well as young fighters who travelled from Kildare, Dublin & Wicklow."
Celebrating his victory.
Last weekend's show is the start of a busy period for Strike, who also announced that they will be hosting the amateur ISKA Irish Open this year in the city.
Entries are now open for fighters to compete in K1, Low Kick, Full Contact & Light Contact rules for what is sure to be a spectacular and memorable event.
