A commemoration to mark the 30th anniversary of the death of Derry republican Seán Keenan was held in the city on Sunday.

The commemoration was chaired by Republican Sinn Féin honorary vice president Mickey McGonigle and took place at the memorial in the Bogside and was attended by upwards of 50 people.

Wreaths were laid during the ceremony by Seán Keenan's daughter Nora and the Keenan family circle.

The leadership of Republican Sinn Féin also laid a wreath while a second one was laid on behalf of the Ulster Executive of Republican Sinn Féin.

A wreath was also laid at the Bloody Sunday memorial.
